podcast from the St Paul Center today I am again joined by Rob Corzine my dear

friend and vice president here welcome Rob always a pleasure yeah so today we've

been discussing the possibility of tackling a difficult subject it's not

difficult on the sense of controversial it's difficult in the sense that it's not

well known for a variety of reasons I suppose and that is the essential nature of

the church as primarily in heaven and not just on earth. So how does that strike you?

That strikes me as very ambitious and let's go for it. Okay so let me just kind of draw a narrative arc, beginning with a book that I wrote

over 20 years ago entitled The Lamb's Supper, The Mass, as Heaven on Earth, and

then let's just draw the art to the most recent book

that we have published. I wrote this and it's entitled Catholics in exile,

biblical wisdom for the journey home. I wrote this along with our good friend Brandon McGinley.

And both of these books deal with very different subject matter, but they're closely connected.

On the one hand you have the Lamb's Supper focusing on the

Book of Revelation and discovering that the liturgy is the thing that holds all 22 chapters

of the apocalypse together.

The beginning, the middle, and the end.
