First of all, you, you're like an advice columnist. Yes. Yes. You are like, dear Abby. Yes. Yeah. It's a little scary because I'm holding people's let. No, I'm kidding. I mean, you have power. I know.

You have power, but you are the behind the scenes of the Take It from a Woman column for Inside Hook.

Where did this concept come from?

Like, when and why was Take It From a Woman born?

It's funny. So I interned at Inside Hook.

In 2019, I was a junior in college.

And they just kind of were a small staff.

And back then we were even like a little smaller. So even as an intern with like no editorial experience, it was just like you get thrown in there. Yeah, which is the best. I mean, it's amazing because like I would, yeah, I would like go to class and people, my classmates would be like annoyed. They were like interning at like Rolling Stone and stuff, but all they were doing were like transcribing interviews.

And they were like, I'm so sick of transcribing.

As a former billboard intern can confirm.

You don't get to do shit.

I've never transcribed anything.

I'm spoiled.

And at the time, I think I was one of two women that worked at Inside Hook.

Yeah, so we're a men's lifestyle publication.
