The Bird Show. The Academy Awards are this week. And man, there was a time in my life where I had seen every one of these things. And when I saw the nominations, I'm like, oh, I've seen that. I love that movie. Oh, I love that movie. Man, then you get a little bit on the older side. Life gets in the way. I haven't seen one of these movies that is nominated for anything this year. I don't think it has anything to do with an age thing.

I don't know if it's just me, but I was looking at all the lists of the movies that are nominated for like the big awards, like Best Picture or Best Director.

And I'm like, is it just me or are movies getting more pretentious?

Because I think a lot of the reasons I haven't seen a lot of these movies is they give

off a pretentious vibe and the only one I've seen is wicked because I like

pretty killers. And that's the ones that LA loves. The Academy loves the pretentious ones and they

really love the ones that are focused on Hollywood in LA. Yeah, I was going to say, it's not that I

mean, I'm too busy to see a lot of them, but I don't want to. I also don't, if I had the free time, I don't want to watch those movies.

Because a lot of them, I do enjoy, like, a really good, deep think piece of a movie,

but they just seem like boring.

When's the last time you went to a movie theater and watched a movie?

Ooh.

It's been a while.

Over a year. And I don't even remember the last movie I went, but I did go about a year ago.

But yeah, these lists, I've always felt like maybe I just have really bad taste in movies because they never have a movie I've seen before.

And I love the theater.

I love going to a movie theater. getting the smell of the popcorn, sitting in the seats that you definitely don't want to have a black light on ever.

But I do love the experience of it.

But nowadays, we're becoming so cocooned when it comes to Netflix and first time movies coming out on like Hulu or whatever.

Like it's like such a hassle to get into the car and go to the movie theater.

And I always laughing myself because they'll put a movie out and be like, oh, it's $ the movie theater. And I always laughing myself because
