guest. I have Major Danny Jerson who's still an officer in the US Army. He is the author of

Ghost Writers of Baghdad, Soldiers, Civilians, and The Myth of the Surge,

and is also the co-host of a podcast called Fortress on a Hill that talks about

foreign policy and veteran issues.

Danny taught at, taught history at West Point.

He is a historian.

He is a combat veteran of both Afghanistan and Iraq War II,

and I feel extremely fortunate to have him on the show today.
