How did you start gardening and what made you become the gardener that you are today that's now helping empower so many

started during COVID because I had you know two boys and I was at home and I'm pretty open

about my story like when I talked to people about I just had my second son and

had some postpart of depression that I had never dealt with before and so I just

began gardening because I thought I don't I can't find anything that's negative about

gardening other than the weeds and so for me it was just very life-giving. It was very invigorating and I just kind of felt my brain like coming back to life.

And we could do a whole entire podcast on all the studies that show what gardening does your

mental health just simply from the microbes in the soil but that was why I

started gardening.

And then I began to become a little bit addicted

to the fact that like the taste of the food was so much better.
