Summary

Jesus is asked in Luke 13:1-5 why bad things like death and destruction happen to seemingly good people – a question that continues to be asked even today. As Jesus answers, we learn what we should actually be asking, what death means for both the unbeliever and believer and most importantly, how to repent and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

1:05.0	Terrorist attacks. Well, that's good. I mean, that's a good guess, but you're wrong. It's not just that.
1:12.1	In fact, you know, you notice maybe a couple dates there that maybe gave that away, September 11th and October 7th. And I purposefully wove those in there to deceive.
1:15.6	But no, these dates all have something in common.
1:19.6	And the actual answer to that is some of the most deadly single days

1:25.6	Deadly days where a lot of people died in one day. And I'm not saying
1:28.9	it's an exhaustive list and it's not the biggest. I think the October 7th one is the closest one to
1:33.9	us just weeks ago, this horrific terrorist attack in southern Israel there, horrible, horrible
1:41.6	terrorist attack. But what were these other dates? So, of course,
1:45.0	October 7th was a Hamas attack on Israel. 1,300 people were murdered that day, horrifically,
1:53.8	5,000 people injured, and many are still held hostage. That was on October 7th. Just just a few months earlier in 2003,
