Today I'm talking about getting curious. in mind, part of the Spartan Up podcast family.

Today I'm talking about getting curious.

And what I mean by getting curious

is really opening yourself up

and becoming available to the wisdom, knowledge,

and expertise of others out there.

Some of the most mentally tough individuals that I know are curious ones.

They are seeking information. They are seeking wisdom. Think about Joe Descenta, for example. Why do you think he does all these podcasts? He's curious. He wants to know different answers, right? So when you become available to the wisdom, expertise, and knowledge

of other people, not only does that sort of elevate your own understanding, but

it also takes up more important space in your head and you begin to weed out the junk

that's in your head, right? The stuff that's in there that isn't actually really benefiting

you or increasing your performance. So I want you to think about what are the ways that you can get curious? What are the ways that you can open yourself up to wisdom, expertise, knowledge of other individuals out there? Whether that's the reading or listening to other podcasts, or asking questions.

That's one of the best ways is when you're with somebody who interests you, ask them questions.

How did you get here? How was that done? What was your process?

That's one way that you can just get curious with the people around you. And doing that,

I guarantee, is going to increase your mental toughness. It's going to weed out all that junk.
