Let's get right to it. On Sunday mornings, we're going through 1 Corinthians chapter by chapter, verse by verse.

And today our text will be verses 29 through 34 in 1 Corinthians chapter 11. We're going to finish the chapter today.

So 1 Corinthians 11 verses 29 through 34. I'll have you turn there at this time

and once you do if you're able, I'll ask you to stand. You can follow along as I read. Beginning in

verse 29, the Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit is writing and says, for those who eat and drink without

discerning the body of Christ, eat and drink judgment on themselves.

That is why verse 30, many among you are weak and sick and a number of you have fallen asleep. And we're not talking

about a snooze here. We're talking about death here. But verse 31, if we were more discerning

with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment. Nevertheless, when we are judged in this

way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.

So then, verse 33, my brothers and sisters, when you gather to eat, you should all eat together.

Anyone who is hungry should eat something at home so that when you meet together it may
