Dr. Berg talks about the Fatty Liver and Thyroid. If you have a fatty liver it can slow your Thyroid down because of high levels of insulin from a lot of refined carbohydrates and frequent eating. He also talks about non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The damage from high insulin from a lot of the sugar is almost identical to the damage from alcohol especially if consumed from high fructose corn syrup.  Damage of High Levels of Insulin:  1. Fatty Liver  2. Inflammation  3. Scar Tissue – Develops into Sclerosis
