The race is on, and after a trio of triple-headers, the Formula One season is already halfway done,

with Mercedes, well on the way to another Constructors' Championship, and Lewis Hamilton,

on the brink of matching Michael Schumacher's record of 91 Grand Prix wins and seven titles.

With nine races and 11 weeks monopolising podcast time,

we're taking this chance to answer your questions on the season so far.

Glenn, it's been a while since you've been on the F1 podcast, but we've secured a loan deal to get you over from Bring Back V10s for this week. How's season two been going? Yeah, it's been a good week in my world for loan deals, Ed. Thank you for that. So I'll quickly declare my allegiance to podcasts, Gulf, Madrid, in that order, which is a very nice joke of anyone

who isn't a football fan. But yeah, bring back V-10s are going really well. We've surpassed 100,000

downloads for the podcast now, lots of positive feedback, which I really appreciate. The latest

episode we've got out at the moment is a special one about one Pablo Montoya's first season in F1 with

Williams and we were joined by Jonathan Williams for that and it felt like a very fitting time

to be reflecting on some of the better stories from the Williams family's history in F1 and

with that team so that was really special. I don't normally let listeners know too far in advance

of the episodes that we're

working on, but as a special treat, as part of my loan deal, I can tell people that next week

we're doing Michael Schumacher getting poached by Benetton from Jordan when he joined F1 in 1991.

And a week after that, we're looking at Toyota's bizarre year where it was only testing before it joined the grid in 2002. So is that enough plugging for now? Yeah, I think you're allowed to have the old plug during the podcast, but make sure you don't overdo it. considering how much work I seem to have brought up here with me and how much I'm still

going to be producing while I'm away. But I have taken the opportunity between races, which

feels so rare considering who we had nine races and

an 11 weekend. So I basically just escaped my flat in Stockholm for a few days. I've gone up to
