So back in verse 26, it says,

for then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world

if he was doing it according to the Old Testament.

But now once in the end of the world

hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. It's a contrast.

It's not saying that he's doing it the same way it was done under the old covenant.

This is a contrast.

Under the new covenant, he did it once.

One sacrifice perfected you forever.

In the next verse, verse 27, it says,

and as it is pointed unto man wants to die,

and after this the judgment, so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many and unto them that

look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Five different times in Hebrews chapter 9,

it's saying Jesus one time sets you free from all sin.

He paid for all of your sins, even the sins you hadn't even committed yet.

They're all dealt with. They're all paid for. even the sins you hadn't even committed yet.
