and so if you believe that well if you got sin in your life God won't accept you

well then just get born again and let me kill you immediately that's the only way

you're ever gonna maintain that holiness and

go to heaven. That's not true. And this is why most Christians have no

confidence in their relationship, no boldness in their relationship because they are living under the law and they are constantly

aware of their shortcomings and knowing that they've done things wrong.

You know there was this man who preached the message called turkeys and eagles.

I don't know how many of you ever heard Peter Lord preach that but it is a classic

classic message and it's this mindset about most Christians are supposed to be

eagles that soar but instead we're turkeys that are walking around on the ground

and earthbound because we don't know who we are and what we've been forgiven.

And in the point of trying to make that, he was at a Sunday morning service and he asked, how many people

in here, this was the 8 o'clock service, how many of you in here sin this morning?

And every person in there raised their hand and his wife was sitting on the front row

And he just stopped right in the middle of the message and says what have you done? It's only eight o'clock in the morning what have you done
