The time is upon us.

It is finally the opportunity has come back around for the Lakers to land the big fish

they had been trying to for years.

Even before LeBron James, even before Anthony Davis, it was Lamarcus Aldridge.

Yeah, Jeannie can finally do what Jim never could put Get Lamarcus Aldridge in a Lakers

jersey.

And like, you know, if they can do it in less than two meetings, then they also have

them beat on frequency of times they met with him.

That to this day is one of my favorite stories of all time.

That was the saddest free agency saga of all time where like Aldridge's agent had to basically

be like, yeah, no, you can leak that the that you're meeting with us again to just

talk basketball.

Since I guess we, uh, leaked that we were not impressed with your marketing presentation.

Yeah, that was having to do a second meeting because there was too much focus on off-court

stuff with the market job.

I've always wondered like, I'm pretty sure and I'm pretty sure it was just like him and

his agent meeting with Jim bus and Mitch Cup check to talk basketball in a hotel room

or something like it was something very bizarre for the second meeting.
