Welcome everybody to the Lockdown Lakers Podcast, I'm Anthony Erwin, and a bit I'm going

0:23.0

to be joined by you guys as I answer your guys' questions in this rare, what is it going

0:28.0

to be a Wednesday mailbag? Zero, a little, a little iteration to be pointed to on this one.

0:34.7

I do want to start though with a couple thoughts on this Myers-Lenard hate speech situation

0:42.8

that we have out there in Miami. I think the NBA has to come down pretty hard on this

0:49.8

one and say that this hate speech, this just at worst ignorance, or at best ignorance,

1:03.0

I guess, and at worst, legitimately vile point of view, it cannot continue. This isn't

1:14.5

the first time, even over the last, you know, number of months you had Stephen Jackson say that

2:10.7

who don't know, Myers-Lenard was streaming himself playing video games and used an anti-semitic

2:23.0

slur and attached it in a derogatory fashion to some other curse words, and after the fact,

2:33.5

as he didn't know what that word was, I'm not going to use the word obviously, that is not

2:40.2

something that is going to be said on this podcast ever, and you know, after, you know, it's funny,

2:48.6

not funny, but it was wild to watch this occur the way that it did where I think I saw the video,

2:56.9

about 15 minutes after it aired, and after it aired, very shortly afterward, there was a video of

3:05.4

him answering a phone call and saying that he had to get off that Twitch stream with the quickness
