Hey everyone and Hey, everyone, and welcome to this whiskey quickie and got a little treat for you.

So this is the single cask nation 24-year-old Kentucky bourbon release.

Wow.

It's got some age to it.

Now, if you don't know who single cast nation is,

it's run by another group of podcasters, but they also do their own independent

bottling. Now, you know, we do bourbon. That's kind of what we focus on, bourbon rye,

but they do everything from bourbon, rye, scotch. They've got some really cool labels.

They've got a great history and a lot of great barrels. They've even done a lot of stuff from wild turkey. Yeah, they got access. We've got to share those contacts.

I've got to figure I would get in there. Yeah. But I'm really excited to kind of dive into this one.

So what's the story behind it? So these barrels were first aged 12 years in Kentucky. Then they took a boat over to Scotland and spent another 12 years

in Scotland until somehow they got a hold of them. And so there was a total, I believe, of

24, sorry, 1,200 bottles that actually came out from this. Now, the origins of where this

all leads, hence all lead to Heaven Hill.

So we've had old Parkers before.

We've had Heaven Hill 27 year before.

So we'll kind of see how that kind of stacks and ranks up against it.

I would think the 12 years in Scotland would make it a slow down aging and a little more muted.
