Hello, everybody. it's episode 300 of Bourbon Pursuit, the podcast featuring news, reviews, and interviews with people making the bourbon whiskey industry happen.

I'm one of your host, Kenny Coleman, and before we start today's podcast, talking about

young whiskey, and if it's good or it's bad.

Here's your weekly Bourbon News Update. So there isn't really much happening in the bourbon

world, so I'm going to give you an update on what's happening in our world. We've taken two weeks

off from doing barrel selections, but that's about to change really soon. Next week, we're going to be back

at four rows as selecting two barrels. Then two weeks later, we're going to be back at four rows as selecting two barrels.

Then two weeks later, we're going to be at Newriff, selecting a barrel there, followed by

another barrel pick at Four Roses the week after that, and then we'll be doing Ezra Brooks

and Rebel Yell barrel selections. We are still on track to be selecting 40 barrels this year,

will Pursuit United be ready again. I'm excited to say that we have all of the barrels secured

that we need for our next batch. This next run will be four times as large as the first,

targeting a little bit north of 8,000 bottles. I've also completed one of the most difficult tasks that I don't envy for any

distillery out there, which is creating a 10-year plan, trying to look in that crystal ball and figure out,
