Another beautiful morning in South Carolina. The sun is up. The temperature eventually will be up. It's another cool morning, also a little on the breezy side. But it is a great morning for a walk, and I hope it's nice where you are as well.

I am walking a different route.

Actually, I walked this way yesterday for the first time, and I'm choosing to go this way again today.

It's probably half mile from the house.

It's close to where I usually walk, but the forecast for this week was particularly windy all day long,

and you have been very kind when I've been walking in windy conditions.

Not to complain, but I am just hypersensitive about the wind noise.

And so I've just been looking for ways to minimize that and wanted to find a place to walk that

that shielded me from the wind more than where I normally walk.

And so I've discovered this path. It's probably maybe a half mile, if that, through sort of a woodsy area that's near our home.

So the trees on both sides provide a bit of a wind buffer.

And so I walked there yesterday and was like, this is nice.

This is actually nicer than I expected.

And I'm heading towards that path now.

I'm not quite there, but right now I'm on a paved trail that in about 10 yards ends and then I will have to walk down a hill

across a little bridge over over a small creek and then I'll be at the one end of the trail and I'll walk through the trail.
