Name somebody that you admire because of their determination.

A person that comes to mind is a former pastor of mine who tried to get into seminary 11 times before he was successful.

Our daughter, Annie, who is 17, turning 18.

And she just has persistence and grit.

She has been through a lot.

She was adopted at age three.

She has some special needs, some disabilities,

and she's had 18 surgeries,

and she just faces it head on and with courage and stamina and I recently was having a small procedure done so I asked her I said Annie how do I face this knowing

it's going to hurt like what do you do and she was like well I recite scripture and recite scripture and I pray. And I was like, oh,

great advice, Annie, thank you. But she knows. She's been there time and time again. And I love

that I know God will use all of it in her life. Yeah. Well, we all know somebody who really

sticks it out. And let's go ahead and hear about the importance of vision and grit.
