Today's 10-minute walk is helping both of us remain fitness consistent.

Hi, I'm Dave.

Let's go for a walk.

I'm going to use a word in today's episode and I'm going to mis-define it.

So the word is mojo.

And apparently mojo, in its more literal definition,

means magic, spell, power that one has over another.

I'm going to use it in the context with the definition of momentum.

And I'm using it specifically because someone else used it, and I understood precisely what they

meant when they used it and why they were feeling that way. So a few months ago, Ava had an issue with her knee,

and she had to remain off of her knee, couldn't put any weight on it for six weeks.

And she wasn't able to run, she wasn't able to walk unless she was on crutches and that was incredibly tiring.

So she spent more time than she's used to sitting.

And towards the end of, actually after she was off the

crutches and she was able to begin walking still not running but to begin walking

and to begin pursuing some level of fitness activity with a little more

intentionality she said to me not once, but a couple of times,

I need to get my fitness mojo back.

I've lost my fitness mojo.

It's elusive.

And in that context,

what I heard was my fitness momentum, my motivation, the desire to do this thing.
