want to have an honest conversation about a pattern that I've

been reflecting on a lot lately in my friendships and dating and even some professional

relationships. I know it's something many of us do without realizing it. We see red flags early on or we feel misalignment in our gut

and instead of pulling back, we override it for the sake of connection. We might tell ourselves that

we're being open-minded or loving and accepting and all of those things are good, right?

Like, I want to be the type of person that is not

harsh in judgment and is open-minded and forgiving and accepting and I don't want to discriminate

against anyone or, I don't know, hold people to an unfair standard, right? Like, we want to give people

the benefit of the doubt. We don't want to be or seem judgmental.

But eventually, and I'm so curious if any of you can relate, when we ignore these red flags or these

gut feelings and we realize eventually our needs are not being met and resentment builds and the

relationship either fizzles or it can end up blowing up in our face and we're

left with this feeling of like what the F is going on. And this is kind of, this is just like something I've
