Solomon closes the book of Ecclesiastes with these words. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter.

Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. Each of us have been given only one life. What

0:24.5

will we do with it? Life. It's not a game. And in this journey through the book of Ecclesiastes,

0:31.1

Scott Pauley will guide us to better understand the true meaning of life.

these words, keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear than to give the sacrifice of fools

2:04.1

for they consider not that they do evil.

2:07.6

Now, these thoughts continue in the verses that follow and will come back to them tomorrow to get

2:12.6

the rest of it.

2:13.6

But let me just take this one verse, if I may today with you, Ecclesiastes chapter 5 and

2:18.4

verse number one, when you come to the house of God. Now, we understand Solomon was referencing the Old
