Solomon closes the book of Ecclesiastes with these words. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter.

with it? Life. It's not a game. And in this journey through the book of Ecclesiastes,

Today, I'm speaking on everyone's sin, and I know it's everyone's sin because the book of James tells us that there is no one who is perfectly clean in this area. There's no one who's not offended in some way in this

area. I'm referring to our mouth, to that little member of the tongue and to our words.

Now, you'll remember that yesterday, in Ecclesiastes chapter 5, verse number one, we were coming to

the house of God. We were coming to the place of worship. We were coming to commune with God. And when you come to the house of God. We were coming to the place of worship.

We were coming to commune with God.

And when you come to the house of God,

we learned in verse number one,

you must consider your feet and you must consider your ears.

When you come to the following verses,

beginning in verse number two, down through verse number seven,

there's a third thing that must be considered, and it is this,

we must consider our mouth. Not only that we come to worship, not only that we listen to God

when we worship, but we must guard that when we speak in the place of worship, what we say is

God honoring. What we say is not just words. Do you remember Jesus called that out with the Pharisees? Oh, they were good

speakers. They were good public speakers. They were good religious speakers. But he said it's just words. God wants

more than that. So let's read verse one again. If you'll permit me, I'll read down to the verses that follow.

You'll see how it all connects together. Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God and be more ready to hear than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they consider not that they do evil.
