It's a nice morning here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Again, I'm out before sunrise.

In fact, I don't even have early daylight yet off to the east,

but I've got some moonshine lightened up where I'm walking.

I guess it was towards the end of October, we were on our back patio with some friends.

We had the fire pit going and off in the distance distance Ava noticed a glow just above a cluster of trees and she

said is that from the town those lights said no no I think that's the moon and within

about 15 minutes I guess you would call it a moon rise.

The moon came up over the trees, and if it wasn't a full moon, it was pretty close.

And it was just gorgeous.

And a few minutes later, as the moon was very slowly but consistently rising in the sky, there was a bright light.

And I said, I think that's a planet too.

And one of our friends has an app on his phone, so he pulls his phone out and points it in the direction of the bright planet and says, yep, that's, I think it was Saturn.

That's Saturn.

And so for the remainder of the time we were out there sitting around the fire pit,

we watched the moon and Saturn slowly rise in the sky.

It was really stunning. I'm going to do something today that I don't do
