We all would like to think that we know where we are going and how to get there.

But at every stage in life, we need divine direction. God has promised to guide us if we simply follow.

Psalm 123, we read these words, unto thee, lift I up mine eyes, oh, thou that dwellest

in the heavens. You know, sometimes we get pretty bogged down here on earth, don't we? We get

inundated by people and things, and the stress and strain of it all gets to be too much. And those are

the moments that you

got to spiritually get your head up and get your eyes on the one who is above at all. He doesn't

dwell simply bogged down in circumstances here on earth like we do. He dwells in the heavens.

It means his way is higher than our ways, his thoughts higher than our thoughts.

He has a much better perspective than we do. You remember in a previous Psalm that the Psalm has said,

I will lift up mine eyes into the hills from whence come of my help. And then he goes on to say,

my help coming from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. The idea is, let's go to the highest

pinnacle on earth, that's the hills, and then let's go higher than that.

Let's go beyond the tallest peak we could find, and we will find a God who is greater than all.

He's not only bigger than this world, physically speaking, he is also bigger than whatever you're dealing with today.
