us to keep returning to the truth of God's Word.

Now, we're living in a world of lots of information and lots of education, but I'll remind you that information and education are not the same as wisdom and knowledge.

And sometimes our perspective is so limited, not even because of sin, just because we're humans.

We can't see things beyond our own context.

We can't see outside our own period of time.

And I've often thought that someday when we get to

heaven and when we meet the Lord at the judgment seat of Christ and we have a more perfect

understanding then, that there will be so many things we will realize God kept us from and so many

things God kept from us that we didn't even know about,

that have been terribly destructive.

It's not just that God saved you from hell someday,

but the Lord delivers us in some way every day.

I really think that's what David was talking about

when he says in Psalm 24,

if it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say, if it had not been the Lord who was on our side. Now may Israel say, if it had not been the
