gardening and the goal here is to create the best book on the planet about how to grow in an urban space.

It's a small space, creative gardening technique book to get the most harvest,

whether that be ornamental or edible, mostly focused on edible,

out of the smallest spaces in your yard, your garden, your home, your window sill, whatever it might be.

So I'm going to try to make it the absolute most awesome

amazing book that I can. It's going to take a while to get out. I know spring

2019 is a bit far away, but I figured I'd just give you guys a little teaser

Now today's episode is Kale. It's a pretty simple one and the question is when do I harvest kale and when do I

How long do I wait until I pick kale again and so the basic rule of thumb here is that kale is ready to harvest when the leaves are somewhere around the size of your hand.

So anywhere from four to six inches long, depending on how large your hand is.

And what you want to do is don't pick too much off of it.

Cale is a cut and come again crop so you're going to want to go around the outside

of it. Of course those will be the most mature leaves but also you will avoid
