Kerry Green. I'm thankful you're with me today. This is our opportunity or among our

opportunities today to get our minds aligned with the truth of God. That's our goal with

The Morning Mindset is to listen to the Word of God, to apply it to our lives, and to put

it into action during this day. Now, one of the ways that we have provided as the organizers

of The Morning Mindset for you to be able to help in putting your faith to action is through

are looking at Daniel chapter 6, verses 6 through 10. And to set the stage, let me recount

where we're at in our story. Daniel has become a high official in the court of Darius, the

need in what was previously known as Babylon, and now is Persia. And this king is about to set

him over the entire kingdom. And some of the men who are on Daniel's level in terms of

authority are getting jealous and they're trying to find a way to trap Daniel. But they cannot

find anything and they conclude the only way they're going to trip Daniel up is if they trick

him in regard to his devotion to his God in some way. And so we come into the story today

with their scheme. Daniel chapter 6, verses 6 through 10, it says, then these high officials

and satiraps came by agreement to the king and said to him, O king Darius, live forever.

All the high officials of the kingdom, the prefects and the satiraps, the counselors and the governors
