What do we do when life doesn't work out?

Happens to all of us.

There will be a loss, there will be grief, there will be a loss there will be grief there will be a divorce there will be

unexpected bad news we'll be betrayed by others.

If you've been on planet Earth for a few years, all of the above will happen to you.

And we all experience them to varying degrees in our life as the years go on. I like to think something

that feels a little counterintuitive when things don't work in my life. And an experience of

this was for me in my early 20s I was married and divorced and divorce I felt at the time had a lot of shame

around it right and it meant a flaw it meant that you failed at something and And a lot of people will believe that, right?

There's a lot in our culture that's like, well, you know,

I remember one woman said to me, she's like,

young people don't respect marriage.

And she didn't know what's going on. She didn't know the insides of you know my relationship

she didn't know anything and yet the judgment was just so quick and so ready and so I

offer something else and I would like to offer this to you today, I would like to offer you something else when life doesn't work out, when things go wrong.

And it's this. If something breaks, if something doesn't go

your way, if something ends, it means that you had the courage to believe in something. And that means that you

are in the arena of your life. You're not on the sidelines. You're not watching. You're not

judging others. You know, and throwing hate at them.

You're living your life from a place of courage because you're doing things, you're allowing in love, you're allowing in job opportunities, you're allowing in love you're allowing in job opportunities you're allowing in friendship

whatever it may be wherever it is that you feel let down or where something hasn't worked out
