All right today we're looking at a question that almost everyone has when they first

start gardening and it's very simple.

Hey, one's the best time to water your garden. I mean it's hard being a new gardener. You have to learn

how to start seeds, how to care for your plants, how to prevent diseases.

But oftentimes one of the simplest mistakes that gardeners make is simply just watering their

garden at the wrong times.

So let's clear that up right now. Okay, the best time to water your garden as early as possible in the morning.

So if you're a morning person, this is probably good news.

I'm not, so I still try to make this work, but every now and then I do miss it.

All right, here's the reason why.

In the morning, sun is barely up, and temperatures are still very cool.

This means that water has time to actually penetrate your soil

and get down into the root systems of your garden

without being lost to evaporation. Watering early also protects your plants. your actually hits them. So this is way better than realizing you didn't water and then

trying to save your plants on a hot day by pouring water on them in the

afternoon. Now before we go on to the second best time, let's bust a garden myth.

There's a lot of old time gardeners that insist that watering in the daytime will cause

your plants to be scorched by the sun.

The idea that they're pushing is that water droplets sitting in the

leaves of your plants will have a magnifying effect as the sun comes out and will
