Today we are going to address common problems that you might have when you're growing micro-greens.

So I used to do this commercially and I've gotten so many questions over the years,

just a bunch of different problems that people are having when they're trying to grow

their micro-greens. So today we're going to get into five different problems and five

reasons why you might be having those problems. So let's go ahead and get

started. All right, number one, mold or fungus problems.

So for me personally, this is one of the bigger problems that I ran into.

I have high temperatures most of the time I live in zone 10b and humidity at least at the time I was doing

micro greens was quite high. So first of all before we get into how to prevent mold or

fungus there's a big difference between mold and the root hairs

that come out of your seeds.

So root hairs are going to be surrounding

the main root of the seed and are super beneficial for a plant.

So do not mistake those for mold.

You'll actually find that mold looks like a spider web

crawling across the surface of the growing media.
