Usually people say go with the flow when you're in a situation where you don't have a lot of

external control over whatever variables are present in that situation. So for instance,

you're stuck in traffic. There's nowhere you can go. That's a great time to go with the flow.

Or your flight gets canceled.

And it was the last flight of the day.

And there's no other possible flights that you can take.

And you've got to be at the destination by bursting in the morning.

But it looks like it's not going to happen.

Go with the flow.

And in that situation, going with the like it's not going to happen. Go with the flow.

And in that situation, going with the flow may mean calling whoever you have to call,

messaging whoever you have to message, letting them know, hey, my flight got canceled.

I'm going to be late to this event and there's nothing I can really do about it, right?
