Today's 10-minute walk is helping you stay consistent with fitness.

The other night I did something that I haven't done in a long time.

Ava and I took our normal after-dinner walk.

I think we walked maybe mile, mile, and a half.

She had had a busy day.

She was tired.

She still had some things to do.

So we got back to the house.

And she started to move in that direction to take care of those things that were on her to-do list.

And I said, hey, do you mind if I just head back out and take another walk?

She said, not at all.

You go ahead.

Enjoy yourself.

And so I left the house, left the neighborhood, and headed towards the center of town.

And it was one of those beautiful nights.

I had my shocks headphones on.

I was listening to music.

Ran into several neighbors who were also enjoying the weather and were out for a walk.

I walked into the center of town and turned around and began to walk home, and I thought,

this is so nice, I took the long way home. The sun was setting and it was beautiful.

Got an email earlier this year from a listener who was in the process of starting a fitness journey.

Now, I don't know if this was a restart or if this was a fresh start.
