mentors. We've had some kind of informal mentors, and certainly through our time at Hope Restored,

a number of years ago, we've met some people that walked through difficulties themselves,

and then with us. How about you?

What's a marriage mentor that you can think of? We definitely have had plenty over the years.

I was thinking about, though, when I started my doctoral program at Biola University in Southern

California, they paired us with a you know, a professor and spouse.

And we ended up in a small group with this couple.

And this, he became, his name's Keith Edwards.

He became just such a mentor to me me both just professionally as a student.

He was my favorite professor.

I just so respected his love for the Lord, his deep spiritual theological insights as well

as just he was a fantastic psychologist.

And then he and his wife just kind of took Aaron and I under their wings and it was

just it was a great experience and and so that was I mean what 30 30 years ago and and even recently

we've reconnected there was a project we've been working on here at focus that

i brought him in to do some consulting on how fun just to catch up and here now he was on my dissertation

committee and it was so cool how how how how he did all that and now he's going to be on aaron's
