And this week I will be speaking with philosopher David Penaugusman, among a lot of other things, his new book,

When Animals Dream, the Hidden World of

Animal Consciousness.

And I absolutely love this interview.

Yeah, I'm so excited to hear it.

You've been talking about it quite a lot.

It's very cool to chat with a philosopher like David.

I don't understand why all philosophers aren't freaking vegan.

I mean, I could say that about everyone, but philosophers, come on. Yeah, seriously. I was nervous about the interview because,

you know, frequently things get too heady and it was not like that at all. I mean, there's

science in there and there's philosophy in there, but really, it's just totally fascinating. And,

you know, apparently there are people who don't believe that animals dream.

I guess they have never had a dog.

Like, it's so obvious when a dog is dreaming.

But apparently loads and loads and loads of other animals dream or probably dream.

And it's kind of fascinating how much they

can figure out about whether or not they're dreaming it was all just so interesting because he also

you know just goes deep into because he's a philosopher of science I guess but he's not a scientist

he's a philosopher so he's looking for all the meanings behind it. I just loved the interview. It was really different and really insightful. I guess I know a little bit more about when, you know, you look at a dog and their little feet are going. And remember Rose used to make those little bubble barks? Oh, my God. It was the cutest thing. That was so cute.
