It started when I noticed just a few charges on my credit card bill, five bucks here, ten bucks there, from a retailer that looked familiar. But then a few months later, that same retailer had charged a thousand bucks. That's when my Spidey

senses went up and I sprung into action, contacted my credit card company and

ended up devoting the next few weeks dealing with it, verifying the fraud, cancelling

all my accounts, blah, blah, blah.

It was exhausting.

But I was also lucky. Lucky to have even realized something

suspicious was going on before they really took hold of all my financial

information or worse,

siphoned a larger chunk of money I couldn't get back.

Economic crimes today can be so sophisticated.

Even the most stalwart and skeptical of us can fall prey to a scam.

And unfortunately, these scams can be the basis for

larger money laundering operations.

But the good news is that there's some things we can do as

employees and customers to discourage it. I'm Adupak and Oola. This is Ted Business. Our speaker today is Hanyo Zybert. He's the leader of the
