Hey, it's me again. In this video, we're going to talk about sugar in relationship to the most common problem that I see out there. |
| 0:52.6 | Okay, so let me just give you some facts. |
| 0:54.8 | Sugar increases this hormone called insulin. |
| 0:57.3 | Insulin lowers that sugar in the blood. |
| 1:00.6 | So that's the purpose, it's to lower the the sugar and what does it do? It puts it in |
| 1:04.0 | storage as fat. So all the sugar you eat goes right into the fat, it's converted, so high sugar |
| 1:10.5 | diets or hard carbon-hydrated diets are really high fat diets. |
| 1:15.6 | Once it's into the fat, it's very difficult to go the opposite direction. |
| 1:19.8 | Now check this up. |

| 1:47.9 | in a bun, a hamburger in a bun, you go to a Chinese restaurant and they put it breaded |
| 1:52.4 | different meats, all that, or put |
| 1:55.5 | ketchup on the hamburger. All that sugar and meat will increase insulin. |
| 1:59.4 | So, but the right amount of protein won't increase insulin like if you have three or four |
| 2:03.0 | ounces it will not increase insulin all right and then we have fat fat does not |
| 2:10.5 | increase insulin. |
| 2:12.9 | That's right, that's amazing. |
