Good morning my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset.

I want to start out today by asking you to remember your very first job, your very first opportunity to earn a wage.

And think about that concept of a wage.

A wage comes about because of an agreement between two parties. You as the worker in the case of

your first job agree to work for the person who's paying you the wage in exchange for receiving that wage. So in my case, it was a

paper route that I did. I delivered newspapers to people door to door. And in that day I also collected the money I

would go door to door once a month and knock on their doors and get a check or

cash to pay for their subscription to the newspaper.

And my wage was a certain percentage of the money that I collected.

And so in essence, I was buying the papers from the paper office, the newspaper office, and I was delivering them kind of on credit.

And then I would go collect the money and give the newspaper office a certain amount based on the number of

Papers they had given me over the month if that makes sense so my wage was the difference it was the profit that I made on that sort of a setup.

Some of you it was a minimum wage that you were paid working at McDonald's or working for

somebody in your neighborhood or whatever.

You received a wage and the wage is what is

do you for the work that you've performed. All right now keep in mind a couple of

things about this illustration and then we're going to dive

into Romans chapter 6 verse number 23.

First of all the wage comes about because of an agreement between two parties and And then secondly, the wage is what is due to the one who

did the action that was agreed upon and it's due to them from the other party.

All right now let's read Romans chapter six and it says for the wages of sin is death. But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

So taking those concepts about the wage that we just thought through. Think about what
