Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Tomorrow is the Feast of the Apostles St. James,

the Less, and St. Philip. But since it falls on the Sunday,

the Sunday Mass will take its place. So today I want to meditate on what St James has written to us.

James the last was the cousin of Jesus and the first Bishop of Jerusalem and was martyred in the year 66.

James the Greater was the brother of St. John who evangelized Spain and was martyred in the year 42.

St James the less gives us the letter of James in the New Testament

and there in chapter 3 he writes of the great power and danger of the tongue and warns us against gossip, slander, and detraction.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

I especially want to pray for little Olivia Caneli that she will be healed of her seizures.
