Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

On May 1st, Pope Francis asked us to pray the family rosary every day and the U.S. bishops

reconsecrated America to marry.

Considering this, I want to make you more aware of the approved apparitions of Our Lady of America in which Jesus, Mary, St Joseph and St Michael appeared to Sister Mary Ephraim, a precious blood sister from 1954 to 1984.

The apparitions took place principally in Rome City, Indiana and then in Fostoria, Ohio.

Monsignor Paul Leibold, who later became the Archbishop of Cincinnati,

was Sister Mary Ephraim spiritual director from 1940 to 1972 when he died of a stroke.

He approved the supernatural nature of the apparitions as well as the messages, the diary,

the statue, and the medal of Our Lady of America.

In 2007, Cardinal Burke studied these apparitions, then wrote a letter to every bishop in the country verifying the approved

status of the apparition and encouraging all bishops to do as our lady had requested in her

messages to Sister Mary Ephraim, some of which I'll share with you in this

meditation.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we promised to pray for, especially praying for the end

of the seizures and the complete healing of Olivia Canili, continued prayers for Jeannie Sherman, and I pray thanking God ahead of time

for bringing my son-in-law, Nick Holm for the birth of his son Cormac, the first part of June.

In the 1940s and 50s, to a certain extent, America was a moral leader in the world.

American Catholics were deeply devoted to Mary.

The shrine to the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.

was the largest shrine in the world not connected to an apparition site.
