Welcome back to the Jeremy Scott-Finnis podcast and radio show coming to you on this Tuesday evening here. Post-Memorial Day. Hopefully you guys had an amazing time with friends and family, barbecuing, doing all the things that you guys are choosing to do with your free time. Hopefully you're eating real food and being active and having some fun, obviously, along the way. But I want to get you gets out here really fast. It's got a ton of stuff going on this week, so it might be the only podcast I can drop. And selfishly, I have some sled work to do. I really have to go do some sled pushes, and I really don't want to do them at the moment. And so sometimes just hopping on the mic here and rambling on to you guys is my own kick

1:17.9

crisis and the epidemic that I believe it is in America today. And I think without physical activity,

1:23.6

without physical education, without sports, we're really doing kids and a huge disservice as they become adults.

1:31.3

And I'm not saying, you know, sports is for everyone, but we're all competitive to some

1:36.3

degree.

1:36.7

And more so, we're competitive with ourselves and how we can push ourselves and grow.

1:41.8

And being a young kid, I probably didn't realize at the time,

1:45.0

but like playing sports taught me a lot of life lessons that were going to mold and shape the man

1:51.4

that I am today. And without athletics, without, you know, with basketball, football, baseball,

1:57.4

you know, even the normal stuff we do like kickball tether ball rollerblading you know literally

2:01.8

jumping on the trampoline like swimming just really the the fundamentals of life you know how we run
