Hi, I'm Dave. I've been walking for fitness since 2013, averaging about 21,000 steps a day. I'm walking right now.

We've been dealing with this super high humidity, or as I've learned, really the

number to pay attention to is due point, and the higher the dew point, the higher the discomfort

level. And this morning, it actually feels comfortable. I did glance at the forecast for the

rest of the day, and it's not expected to stay

like this, but for right now, this is a nice break. New Year's resolutions. I know. I know it's

August 25th and I'm talking about January 1st. I'm talking about 2023 today. I want to recommend that you begin

considering your 2023 fitness goals now. You know, typically what happens with New Year's resolutions

with really any kind of goal is that we get super excited.

We have a whole list of things that we're going to change.

And we begin with this motivational tank filled with fuel.

But the problem is that fuel is simply a motion.

And it is not sustainable.

And within a week or two, that motivational tank is empty because your emotions have drained.

And not only do you not have the oomph to keep moving forward with whatever goals you set,

now they almost feel like a burden.

It's like, why? Why did I say I was going to do that? Or if you're wired like me, a little more passively aggressive, you just kind of hope that you can forget that you told yourself you were
