What's the dumbest reason you've been fired?

On Thursday, my boss has her daughter's dance recital that she had been planning for months.

Three days prior, I was asked to be a date to a wedding.

I said yes and asked my boss, who immediately said no.

We ended up getting coverage, and the wedding and the recital went off without a hitch.

However, Thursday

and Friday night, I'd started on some new meds for my incredibly serious illness, beginning with

a sea, and they made me incredibly drowsy, so much so to the point that I overslept by two hours.

On Friday, I started calling my boss, I have call logs, and as soon as she hears it's me, she hangs up on me.

This happened six times before I make it to work, alternating between her cell and the store telephone.

As soon as I get there, I try to plead my case and clock in.

She immediately tells me to clock out as I'm a no clock no show.

I don't understand how this is possible, especially given the call logs and the fact that

I'm seen on the security footage, and I clocked in anyway.

I tried to get her to sit down in the office to talk calmly, and she, a very devout Christian

woman who rarely curses, screamed at the top of her lungs to get the frick out of her office.

At this point, I'm very confused, I have no idea why she'd be so angry at me. And then I find out. The day of the wedding, my boss let me go home early and get ready. I made a post on Facebook saying, out of work, time to get ready. Thank God she let me out of work early for once, considering all the times I covered for her. I'm not friends with her on Facebook, and I find out the one customer I'm friends with on Facebook showed her the message while she bragged about the recital. F, that noise. I know what she's trying to do. She's trying to get me another no-call-no show. So I show up right on time, walk in the building to be seen on all the security cameras, clock in and then get escorted

out.

Beat the system as best as I could.

And tonight I spent time printing out some 40 odd emails where I covered shifts for her and

did things for her that she said I didn't.

I also printed out all the call logs and I'm going to have my doctor fax first thing
