Great to be with you. Our theme today is a new season. What's new for emotionally healthy

discipleship? And I have here with me,

Drew Hjohn, who is the new president of emotionally healthy discipleship. Hi, Drew. Hey, Pete.

Good to be here. And so Drew's here because we want to share with you the exciting new season

in which we find ourselves here at E.D.

And so in today's episode, we're going to do something different, probably what I love to do the most.

That's why I invited Drew here as the new president.

So we're going to break this up into two parts, actually.

We're going to talk about, first I have Drew share about what's a bit more about what's the new season of emotionally

the discipleship and then what it means for you as listeners as pastors and leaders serving

the church around the world. And then second part of the podcast, we're going to move into

the succession, questions about succession because you heard from me in the last podcast,

kind of full podcast on succession, but we got a chance to ask some

personal questions to Drew about how that process has been for him.
