Hello everyone, this is the Yearful Tower podcast. My name is Oliver G. and I am transporting you

to the city of Paris as usual every Monday and this episode. I want to introduce you to a man

named Edward Chisholm. He is from England. He's written a wonderful book called A Waiter in Paris,

Adventures in the Dark Heart of the City.

And when I say a wonderful book, it really is truly wonderful.

You should check it out.

I read it and I actually read an advanced copy of it.

So I knew, I knew what everyone was in for.

Then the press started saying, isn't a fantastic book?

People started sharing it on social media,

and now it's time for me to share the episode with you. I could have sat down over Zoom and done

this episode with Edward that way, but no, we waited until he was in Paris and we sat down

in the Boulfungi restaurant, and we had a good old chat about everything that comes from being a waiter in Paris.

So this is something he did.

He's going to hear it all.

He did it for a couple of years.

And he sort of wrote this brilliant, almost like an expose on everything that happens

behind the doors.

And it's sort of coupled with his own story, a bit of romance in there, moving to Paris and trying to figure it all out.
