away from our kids last week. Yeah, we did not parent last week. Yeah, we unparented

and that's kind of one of the keys to parenting. Yes, this is one of our strategies that we

want to tell you about today which is from the earliest age when your kids are born. I mean,

we did this when Cade was one. I remember going away to Mexico or something for like a week

and leaving Cade at nine months with my parents. We were like crying a little bit. We were sad

because it was our first child but we were very happy that you and I got to bring away from

the craziness of what it means to have children and that enter into your life. Yes and I think

there was a little bit of mom guilt but it was with grandma and grandpa. I mean, come on and they

spoiled him more than we did so he was not complaining at all. So it is it is key to have a trusted

person in their lives that you're leaving them with but really what that does for us is just this

reminder, you know, hey, we we still like each other. Yeah, sometimes, you know, now that we have

four children getting away for us now has become critical. If we don't have this time away from

the stress and the demands and everybody's agenda and everyone's expectations to just focus on

one another, you know, you if you don't do that, you start to just live in this rat race of life

and busyness. Yeah. And you forget like what brought you together? Why are you together?
