| 0:00.0 | Hello, my loves. Welcome back to self-care daily. It's a Friday. So it means it's time for our |
| 0:11.2 | absolute final heart-centered practice of this week. And today, I want you to offer yourself a really |
| 0:19.4 | important practice. And you're going to choose |
| 0:21.8 | the specifics around this practice, but I'm going to give you the framework and what it is |
| 0:26.3 | that we're looking for. |
| 0:31.0 | Today, I want you to engage in some kind of practice or do some sort of thing or go to a place or meet a person who makes |
| 0:41.2 | you feel so safe. I want you to do something that helps you anchor into a sense of safety. |
| 0:49.7 | And now a sense of safety, meaning that place where you can completely relax and let go, |
| 0:55.9 | a place where you can let your guard down, where you don't have to look over your shoulder, |
| 1:00.4 | you don't have to worry, you don't have to be hypervigilant, |
| 1:03.2 | that place where you can really let your nervous system settle, |
| 1:06.9 | a place where you know you are so held and you are so very safe. And I don't know the ins and |
| 1:15.3 | outs of this practice or this place for you, but I have a feeling you already have it at the tip of |
| 1:21.5 | your tongue. So this could be a self-care practice. Maybe you have a practice like that that just |
| 1:26.5 | makes you feel so grounded |
| 1:28.1 | that you just know it's safe to let go. For me, a kundalini meditation almost always brings me to this |
| 1:34.6 | place. I love a yoga nidra, always at the end of yoga nidra, I feel so cocooned and held and safe and calm. You might have that feeling at the end of a yoga |
| 1:47.2 | practice in shavasana. Maybe there's a meditation that you do or a way to move your body. |
| 1:53.5 | Finding safety sometimes or oftentimes also happens together with other people. Maybe there's a |
| 1:58.8 | person in your life and that person just has a quality that |
| 2:01.8 | makes you feel so safe, makes you feel so held. Could be your spouse, your partner, a best friend, |
| 2:08.3 | a family member, someone that you have in your life that just has that ability to make you calm. |
