When a guy is getting out there and dating, he puts women in only one of two categories.

And once you're in one of these categories, it's nearly impossible to be recategized in his mind.

The first category is hookup material and the second is wife material.

In fact, I met my wife, Jessica, at a bar in South Boston on New Year's Day.

I was like two vodka sodas in, and you'd think that she would be positioned

in my mind as just hook up material. But she definitely, definitely was wife material. And of course,

don't get me wrong. I mean, I would have totally hooked up with her that day if she would have

been so gracious to have been interested in hooking up with me that day.

But she was a hard no on that given day.

No way in hell was she hooking up with me.

And I know how much pain and frustration there is when you feel like a guy is just trying

to hook up with you.

He doesn't want anything more.
