I'm so glad to have you along today.

Let's open our Bibles together to Matthew Chapter 19 and open our hearts to what the Lord wants us to understand about marriage in the

light of holy scripture marriage is not a cultural concept it is a biblical principle in. In other words, marriage was God's idea.

We're living in a day when marriage is being minimized. People say, oh, just live together.

You get the benefits, of course, of living together without the commitment of marriage.

Wait a minute. That's totally foreign to God's divine design, his original intent.

And then marriage is being attacked.

Divorce is on the rise.

I really believe that there's a satanic strategy behind all of this,

because if you can destroy marriage, you destroy and disrupt families, and families are the basic

units of a civilized society. If you want to destroy a nation, destroy the home, and that's exactly

what the enemy is seeking to do. There's a great deal of discussion, of course, on every issue right now

about, well, what do you think, and what does he think, And what does she think? But the reality is we need to find out what

does God say. And today, I'd like to show you what Jesus taught about marriage, because in Matthew

chapter number 19, he gives us a number of very basic principles, foundational principles that I think are so important

at this particular juncture. They're important for people who are contemplating marriage.

They're important for people who have been married for a long time. Wherever you are on this,

on this spectrum, on this particular subject.

This is truth for all of us.

And so we come to Matthew chapter 19 and the words of Jesus in verse number four. And he answered and said unto them, have you not read that he which made them at the

beginning made them male and female and said,
