Father, thank you so much for this opportunity and your good providence for us to come together and

study your word. I pray that your word, which is living

and active, would have great impact and influence in our thinking, our hearts and even challenge our wills.

Okay, we're in the Gospel of Luke today, Gospel of Luke, and what we're looking at in this lesson

is what Jesus taught about conversion and this is our fourth study in this little

series on conversion. We've been in 1st John and I've wanted to step out of 1st

John just briefly and address this subject of being converted.

And it's of utmost importance

because no one can enter the kingdom of God

without being converted.

Now, as we look at what Jesus taught about conversion, I need to say that Jesus was the greatest evangelist who ever lived.

He was the greatest soul winner who ever lived.

And so whatever he had to say about conversion is true both theologically, it's also true practically in his own life.

And so we could not be looking at a more important portion of scripture on the subject of conversion than here in the Gospel of Luke.
