And the title of today's lesson is what Jesus taught about conversion. And we're going to be in the

Gospel of Mark. And let me tell you why we are in the Gospel of Mark. couple maybe it was a month ago we and we've been

going first by verse through first John and we're going to step back into that in

the near future but we came to some past into that

the near future. But we came to some passages in chapter 3 of 1st John

that dealt with the new birth.

And I could tell that I put my finger on a live nerve, especially when I said that the new birth is an immediate act of God.

It's not something that takes place over a period of time, that it takes place in the twinkling of an eye.

And I could tell by some of the response that that was almost like a new thought.

And I realized we need to be crystal clear about the new birth and conversion.
